1:1 Private Coaching

Remember how it feels to love your work and your life again.

There was a time you dreamed of being where you are now: having work you love, that pays you well, and a life you built largely on your own terms.

But years ago, when you imagined reaching this phase of your life, you thought it would feel different. You imagined you’d actually be able to enjoy your work. Sure, you figured there would be long days, stressful seasons, and moments when things felt like a lot. But that would be okay because you love what you do.

And besides, it wouldn’t be like that all the time. You thought that eventually you’d figure out how to strike a pretty good balance. You’d feel the freedom that comes from finally having yourself “figured out.” No more overthinking. Just doing a good job at work, closing your laptop, and having enough of yourself left to enjoy your life when the workday is over.

But that’s not how life looks today.

Now, you feel so overwhelmed by work that you struggle to feel grateful for it. Even though you tell yourself you “should” be grateful—and that only makes you feel worse.

You worked so hard to get here, and now the main thing you feel is stressed. Overwhelmed. Overworked. Like it would take a month-long holiday to restore your energy levels.

And because you genuinely love your work, it’s hard to know what to do with that.

You’ve tried all the things you’ve been told should help: Affirmations, meditation, hot and cold therapy, breathwork, better boundaries. You’ve also tried telling yourself that you’re fine, that you’re making too much of it. You’ve tried to mind-over-matter your way through it.

Maybe some things have helped here and there. But nothing has really helped long-term.

And now, you feel stuck.

This is where 1:1 coaching comes in.

I work with women who love what they do but have reached a point where the way they’re going about their work is no longer sustainable.

They’re overwhelmed, but they don’t want to quit.

They’ve tried to manage it on their own, to no real avail.

And now, they know something has to change.

What coaching looks like

In coaching, we unpack what’s actually at the root of your overwhelm.

Why do you continue to feel stressed, even though you love your work and are *genuinely trying to take care of yourself?

Why does the overwhelm keep coming back?

Why is it so difficult to stop pushing yourself, or stop being “on” all the time—even when you know better?

It’s easy to avoid these questions when you’re asking them of yourself. It’s also easy to come up with an answer that sounds convincing enough to satisfy the curious part of you, while protecting you from going any deeper.

That’s why I’m there.

I’ll ask the follow-up questions you might not think (or want) to ask yourself. I’ll help you notice the patterns you can’t see, and give you the tools and support to navigate what can be an emotionally intense process.

If you’ve been pushing yourself for a long time, there’s a reason for it.

Together, we’ll uncover what’s underneath your patterns and begin creating new ways of responding to stress, ambition, responsibility, and uncertainty—ways that actually support you rather than asking you to override yourself.

This isn’t about caring less about your work.

It’s about finding a way of doing this work you love without having it consume you.

The daydreams you’ve had where…

  • You close your laptop and still have something left for yourself.
  • Your days off are actually restful.
  • You feel well in your body, present in your relationships, and connected to the parts of yourself that have nothing to do with your productivity.
  • You love the life you worked so hard to create.

…they aren’t just meant to be daydreams.

They’re begging to be made your reality.

This work may be for you if…

  • You struggle to switch off from work.
  • You feel guilty when you rest.
  • You find yourself filling your free time because doing nothing feels uncomfortable.
  • You’ve tried all the wellness tips and tricks, but the same patterns keep resurfacing.
  • You’ve become so accustomed to pushing yourself that you’re not entirely sure what it would feel like to stop.
  • You want to feel better without making your life smaller or giving up the work you love.
  • You’re ready to look beneath the surface and understand why you keep getting caught in the same patterns.

What clients often experience

All clients are unique, but there are over-arching shifts I’ve seen. As we begin to understand what’s underneath your chronic stress and experiment with new ways of responding to life’s demands, you may start to notice that…

You have more space.

There’s less of that feeling that you’re constantly rushing toward the next thing. You have more room to breathe, think, feel, and simply be.

Rest starts to feel different.

Instead of treating rest as something you have to earn, you become more comfortable letting yourself slow down without immediately feeling guilty or reaching for something productive to fill the space.

You trust yourself more.

You become better at noticing what you need and taking those needs seriously, rather than automatically overriding yourself because there’s work to be done.

You have more of yourself left at the end of the day.

Work may still be demanding. There may still be stressful seasons. But it doesn’t have to take everything from you.

Your life starts to feel like yours again.

There’s more energy for relationships, creativity, pleasure, spontaneity, and all the things that make your life feel rich beyond what you accomplish.

How 1:1 coaching works

Weekly sessions

We meet virtually once a week for a minimum of three months. This gives us the time and space to move beyond surface-level changes and work with the deeper patterns underneath your overwhelm.

A space to go deeper

Our sessions are shaped around what’s actually happening in your life. We’ll explore the thoughts, beliefs, and patterns influencing how you move through the world, while also paying attention to what’s happening in your body. That might mean noticing where you feel tension, restlessness, heaviness, or a sense of ease, and exploring what those sensations may be telling you.

Together, we’ll develop ways of responding to your work and life that support both your mind and body, rather than constantly asking you to override them.

Work that continues beyond our sessions

The changes you want to make need to exist in your actual life—not just in our sessions together. Between sessions, you’ll have practices, reflections, and things to experiment with so you can begin bringing what we uncover into your everyday life.

A Little About Me & the Genesis of this Work

Hi, I’m Mackenzie! I wanted to take a minute to tell you why I’m so passionate about this work, and in a nutshell it's this: because I’ve been there. I know how it is to feel hijacked by overwhelm and unable to enjoy my life. I’ve worked jobs that my younger self couldn’t even fathom, jobs that took me to Art Basel, French fashion houses, runway shows across Europe and North America—all the things that normally feed my creative soul. And yet, I couldn’t access anything beyond the feeling of stress. I’ve lived in places plucked straight out of fairtales, and felt nothing but pressure.

What I’ve learned is that the old adage “Wherever you go, there you are”... Well, it’s famous for a reason. It is absolute truth. Until I understood the root of my constant stress and actively worked on changing how I was showing up, I continued to turn even the most magical of opportunities into opportunities for stressing out.

Since then, I’ve trained under leaders in somatic therapy, energy healing, and, more recently, psychotherapy. I’ve learned to look at stress from all sides: the thoughts and beliefs we carry, the stories we’ve learned to live by, and the ways stress shows up in the body. I bring all of this into my work with women, helping them understand what’s really driving their stress and find a way to keep doing work they love without it consuming them.

I love coming back to this because it's such a distillation of my 'why': "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." – Abraham Lincoln

Previous clients have said...

"Being able to work with Mackenzie was very profound for me. It was one of the most productive, and, at the same time, one of the most grounded experiences that I have had as an adult. I showed myself that the goals I had written down, but had been too afraid to execute on, were very much within my reach; that all I needed was to set myself a timeline and hold myself accountable for the things that I know in my heart I really want to do. Thank you, Mackenzie, for the beautiful experience."
-Susana S.

"I’ve had such beautiful experiences working with Mackenzie. She embodies a sacred, gentle, present energy, and has this ability to really witness you, and facilitate creative breakthroughs... Her approach is necessary, especially for people who need calm, who need space away from the hustle of the world. She brings this feeling to the session that you can reach the things you’re dreaming of, while moving more into the wholeness and beauty of your own particular soul, without having to get bogged down, or caught up in the grind, or the unnecessary noise from the outside, which is so present around us—even in the healing space sometimes. I really recommend working with Mackenzie. It’s truly a divine experience that will have you opening up to portals of spirituality, deeper consciousness, and awareness of your own self. I’ve gotten so many insights into my own being and into the uniqueness of who I am, which has allowed me to release some of the blockages that I had in the way of taking my next best steps—and helped me move through the world in a more present, gracious, beautiful way."
