Loud ≠ Correct

In today's world, it can be easy to be convinced by the voices that are the loudest. We hear them the most often. They are typically charismatic, unwavering.

But the thing is, oftentimes those that shout the loudest are fuelled by unprocessed fear.

That doesn't make these people bad, just ill-equipped at this particular point in their lives to see clearly, much less guide others clearly.

It's emotional sobriety that gives us a clear, clean lens. So, while we all move through a ton of emotion, we ultimately owe it to ourselves to process said emotion so that we may be our own best guides.

This isn't to say others can't inspire and teach us. They can and do, and thank goodness. Teachers are incredibly valuable. However, it's important to remember that no one can tell you how to best lead your own life. You are the only one that can do that.

So, go out and absorb what you feel called to from the external world. But always come back to yourself. Run everything, including my words here, through your own filter.

It's not only safe to trust yourself, but it's incredibly important for the global society that you do. The more of us that actually lead our lives guided by the light of our true north star, the better off we'll be.

Do not let others tell you otherwise. Those that seek to dominate are always coming from unprocessed fear.
